This study away program housed at the Department of Cellular Biology and the Center for Tropical and Emerging Global Diseases (CTEGD) would take students on a 3-week experiential learning trip to Kerala, India, in the Maymester, and aims to provide a hands-on experience in zoonotic and veterinary disease diagnostics. This program is open to all undergraduate, graduate and professional students at UGA and satisfies the research requirements for undergraduate students majoring in Cellular Biology, and a significant part of the requirements for the UGA undergraduate certificate in immunology.
